I have always believed in God, and was raised in church. I have also spent
a lifetime wondering why I never felt a close relationship with God and
felt so guilty about my doubts. Clyde Lewis' book, An Encounter With a
Prophet, was one of the best blessings I have ever received. I truly
believe, with all of my heart, that God touched Clyde's heart with the
message of this book. It allowed me to see God in a whole new light, and
opened my heart and mind to ideas that my parents would view as
blasphemous. I do not think that God feels that way. I think God is
overjoyed that I now have a personal relationship with him, and I now talk
to him all the time. I am human, and my God allows me to be human. I make
mistakes, and God is there to pick me up. I start each and every day
asking for God's will to be done in my life, and then I do the next right
thing in front of me to do, and God holds my hand the whole time. I have
true freedom of the spirit, and a serenity I have never had before. I
personally know many other people who feel the same way I do. This book
has brought peace and freedom to many, and has helped us to understand a
concept that can be so very difficult to comprehend. The book uses
language and examples that are simple and basic. The majority of people
are average good people who are trying to live life the best they can.
Thanks to Clyde Lewis, We can now live that life with the guidance and
strength of a loving, caring God. Thank you Clyde, for sharing your
solution with me.
