Kelly, Assuming you'll be back to look for more messages, I personally have never heard of shadows in the sense you portray, I have however over the past few years learned to be very open minded and have learned lots about angels, fairies etc etc.....one of my questions to you would be....how does this shadow make you feel? if he/she were evil, my feeling is you would sense it.....you would know if it intended harm in any way particularily as you have mentioned this is actually a common occurence in your family.....if she/he is impish, this does not feel evil to me. Let me tell you a little story....about a year ago I went to a psychic fair and there met a young lady who asked me if I believed in fairies, my reply was......I guess so...I used to never doubt they were around (even though I can't see them)....she then proceeded to suggest I make a little fairy alter in one of my plants or something.....after some thought, I decided what could it hurt and one evening when I was alone, I did as she had suggested and created this little alter..... Now, when I go to bed at night I always put my clothes in the same place, in a corner. The next morning when I got up, on the floor exactly where I put my feet....were my socks!!!!!......heel to heel...like they were sitting there ready for me to put them on. Remembering that I don't leave my socks beside my bed when I go to sleep, I quickly noticed they were where they aren't usually.... The point of telling you this little story, is that I've been told that fairies can be a little impish or mischievious as well....and while I've not actually seen one, I have now seen their handy work :)
I have also seen the Mothman Prophecies and must admit when I first saw the previews said there was no way I was going to watch this movie....it looked rather ominous.....but, having watched it I have changed my opinion and like you believe whoever he is, he is here to try and help. I also believe, we have many many helpers.....God has not sent us here without help and who are we to assume we know what form that help might take.... Now, its my turn to ramble......just thought I'd share my thoughts
