Amy, I can't really go into a reading here to connect with your pet on the other side but I will say this, I think it is WONDERFUL that you made the attempt to save this dog. Your heart was so definitely in the right place. You know there are just times when no matter how much we want to help someone or something, we can't do it. Because of the events that dog went through prior to you coming into his life it would have been a very very hard task to change his emotions. This is not your fault.
You know, the dog probably didn't have a very good life, lets face it. BUT...I really really do feel that animals can "feel" us. They know where we are coming from.
So even though your adopted buddy had went through some bad times that made him react, I think he felt you. He knew your love. And here is the super great thing... had you not come along and tried to help that dog would have passed without EVER knowing love, compassion and care.
Also. he know has someone here to miss him. Because you reached out and tried...he will always have someone that remembers him.
I know you wanted to save him. But that may not have been your role. Maybe...your role was to remember him and love him (just as you do) through his problems.
