Dear friend,
It appears that some may not fully understand the principle of why a Psychic charges for his or her services. First of all, those who wish to simply give away their readings are certainly free to do so. But it has been known for a great period of time that those who merely *give* something away without cost is not embracing the principle of "Giving and Receiving". If one merely gives something away, it is not appreciated by many as it would be if they actually paid for it. That is a valid concern. When you receive a balloon, for example, for free, you will more than likely toss it or not even use it, but if you had to pay some money for it, you would put it to better use!
Also, when people only want to get everything for free, it makes them look much like beggars. There is no Self-Dignity in that. The law of Giving and Receiving is never balanced when one is not allowed to also give something back in return for that which they have received. It also does nothing to help the person's spiritual growth who is always accustomed to only receiving without having to give in return. They may color this with whatever flavor they wish, e.g., that it is a "gift" and therefore should not be charged for. But remember, a doctor also has a 'gift' for healing people -- yet he or she does *charge* for that God-given gift in order to make a living! And you will hear little to no complaints about that. The lawyer and the teacher, etc. also charge, as is appropriate, for their "gifts" in being able to help people. People do have to make a living from their talents if it takes them *time* to do what they do. They charge for their *time*, not for the gift that they have. If that were not so, then you must think of the fact that they would not be able to be available for those who come to them expecting their services, simply because they would have to be out working in order to make a living! This would not serve well those who seek psychics when they need them.
So, always remember not to limit yourself such as to make yourself always look like a *beggar*. Learn to GIVE BACK for that which you receive! It is not hard to do and a little discipline can go a long way! Remember that those who pay for a service will appreciate it far better and longer than those who merely receive it for free.
Many blessings to you! Merguey
