Key to Rating System

Easy read, can be completed in few days of reading time. Books marked with one star are great for the student that is only coming to form some of the new thoughts approached in General Metaphysics. Inside the books indicated with one star, you will find a detailed description of anything the author mentions. If the word Chakra is used, then you will find at least a brief description of the word, Chakra. The one star books will leave no doors or descriptions for that manner unexplained. Personally, I still purchase the one star books because I thoroughly enjoy hearing others full inputs on terminology. I like to hear separate accounts on the meaning of all things! Example, although I may share the same thoughts on a particular topic as described by one author, I also like to sample the theories claimed by another writer. .....   Still staying unpretentious, although longer reading time maybe needed.

Developed students. Starting to branch into various thought patterns of the authors own recognition. Meaning, even if you have had training of some form of development in the topic, these books are probably going to bring in a totally new way of looking at a given topic.  .....   Complex reading, diverse subject matter, elevated thoughts on issues of spirituality often times reflecting new thought patterns, giving the reader new ideas as well as thought provoking ideas. With the 4 stars the author will not attempt to describe all of the Metaphysical terms or scenarios set up in the book. The 4 star books are also books that I would recommend even the innovative reader take on one chapter at a time. The books with 4 stars will stray from the "Mainstream" way of thinking.

Doreen Virtue has definitely opened the thought process of any given individual when speaking on the authenticity of Angels in our lives. I highly recommend ANY of her books for the beginner to the advanced admiring student. Healing with the Angels is incredibly easy to read and very hard to put down. It starts with the simple task of asking - as the saying goes, ask and ye shall receive... and it works on listening to those voices that direct and help us - OUR ANGELS.
      She will touch on the Celestial beings from both view points. How they reside in Heaven as well as here on Earth. I keep this book to the forefront of my book shelves. Referring it to inquisitive clients interested in learning how to see, feel and know their angels. I find that Dr. Virtue keeps all of her work simplistic without ever placing the fear that sometimes is attributed to concepts of the Angelic Realm.

VICKI - What I enjoyed most about this book is the focus onto the Divine Mother, the
Mother Mary. A significant symbol for me when I was a young girl inside
Catholicism. For me, at a young age, I seemed to gravitate toward the
feminine energy represented by Mother Mary. As I mention this in my writing,
I have to admit, I still send prayers to the feminine divine.



Angel Visions: True Stories of People Who Have Seen Angels, 
and How You Can See Angels, Too!

      I think the fact that there are many miniature stories on others accounts on how they encountered the Angels in their own lives is what makes this one of my favorites. By the finale, I felt as though YES, even I, even YOU, can learn to feel the presence of Angels.

      Something that I always appreciate in any book, audio, or media attempt, is guided exercises to aid you in experiencing whatever topic is at hand. The last chapter of this book, DR Virtue (which is her real name) will provide techniques to assist you with simplicity on contacting, feeling and acknowledgment of your own Life Protectors, the Angels. She does this in most of her books. You may also utilize the exercises mentioned to obtain connection with your spirit guides as well.



MY FAVORITE PICK
Understanding Your Angels and Meeting Your Guides

      Needless to say, John Edward remains my number 1 Guidance Counselor to this point on my path. I highly admire all of his work set forth so far. There are very, very few good books on how to recognize your Spirit Guides. The shelves are swamped with authors channeling their own guides, but what about the person who would simply like to meet their own? No offense, but not every worker is going to connect with an entity like Seth or Omni. My spirit guides are well informed for the lessons and procedures that I need to focus on directly. I think that this audio book by John Edward would have to be my number one pick for anyone that has not directly met their guide as of yet. Johns work will have you knowing that you are not less than or far behind because your guide is not that of some miraculous channel.



  Calling All Angels!: 57 Ways to Invite an Angel into Your Life
by Joyce Keller

      Sometimes as you travel your path, it is nice to have topics numbered for you. Placement of whatever it is you are focused on learning for the learning period you are in. Focus is one of the most important words that you can utilize when learning. Concentration on one topic. This how to book will address those numbers from 1 to 57 for you! Joyce Kellar is a psychic who is not afraid to use the word, Angel in her delivery. She shares easy to remember affirmations and techniques, (Even how to blend a little Feng Shui in for the set up of your sacred space). I do share a lot of Joyce's outlooks on the subjects of angels.
This will certainly become a reference journal if you decide to read on a professional level. Nice to suggest to clients who may have that "I am shocked that we can ask our angels for personal gain or help" look as you read for them!

      This book is based on the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce.
      I had the privilege of spending 5 years computerizing the 14,305 psychic readings of Edgar Cayce with a 5-member team. I discovered readings on angels and archangels that inspired and fascinated me. I drew from Cayce's readings on Michael the Archangel, Satan and the fallen angels, guardian angels and how they interact in our lives. It was a rare privilege for me to study Cayce's legacy and write about his seldom-seen readings on angels.

VICKI - Personally what I enjoyed most about this book was the fact that it surfaced before Angels became the "KEY" word to catch everyone's ears. 1994. Be prepared before you open this beautifully designed book. Robert Grant, (whom looks so very youthful in his preface picture on the back of the book) will explain loads of new research on the angels roles in every imaginable format possible. I would most definitely save this book. However, for those that have browsed and studied Angels in some form of an in depth format.



Meditation For Dummies®

      For the most part, I love any of the Dummies & Complete Idiot books!
Steven Bodian who is not only an author but a yoga & meditation instructor (which normally suggest that he is an expert in the area of…) suggests that you can learn to meditate within 5 minutes! A theory I feel is all too true.

      As with ANYTHING there are levels. Is one level better than the other? NO, not at all. And with this book you will see again, backing up my thoughts that meditation is a big word, with simple meaning. This journal will talk about the beginning practices of meditation, to the ascension process, you will experience at some point of your discovery, a deep relaxed focus.



101 Essential Tips: Basic Meditation
by Naomi Ozaniec, Deni Bown

      This book will add some concepts on the Color Therapy that I so much enjoy and believe in. I do wish they would have left the color concepts to other authors and continued their focus on meditation.

      The authors provide some great techniques for getting started. And the price is much lower than the Dummies book I recommended. If you feel you need to save a few dollars, and just want a sample of some other ideas on meditation, this would be my selection.
