Denton's work is impressionistic, but it is a subtle and gentle departure from realism, inviting the viewer to become involved by using his own imagination to complete the picture. Areas void of lines, yet filled with the flowing movement of life. A place where the subject becomes one with that which can only be imagined. The adventure continues if the viewer looks closely at Denton's paintings. He will then enter a world of abstraction where he will discover minute areas of color and design which go unnoticed from a distance.
